The International was devised using multiple years of suggestions/requests from our Nathan Junior/ Vinny Reverb platforms. Increased power (10 watts!), full tone stack. our proprietary tube ddriven power scaling, 12” speaker and a resonant pine cabinet! We went further and ran two different power tubes in parallel single ended which has not been done before to our knowledge- the result is a very rich amp that excels at everything Benson players would want out of their rig!

Sonically, the International’s pine cabinet and Sours transformers give it a suprisingly big, loud and rich tone for such a small package. Players used to the Nathan Jr or Vinny Reverb will find it can keep up with a band easier, and users of the Monarch will appreciate the pure single ended tone and increased portability/versatility.

One unique feature of the International is the ability to pull either the 6V6 or the EL84 power tube to get either American or British power tube flavor out of the amp. When this is done, there is a jack to plug the speaker into to ensure a correct impedance match.

The International features a switch on the back (underneath a screwed in panel) to switch the primary voltages to whatever you need in the world….230V for Europe/Australia etc, 100V for Japan, and 120V for US/Canada/Mexico. Furthermore, the cabinet is exactly the same exterior dimensions as a Princeton Reverb, making finding a road case simple. These features, as well as the switchable power tubes, give the International its name…it is the easy to travel with!
